Our first step is trying to hone down the visual identity.  A stylescape is a freeform composition in which we establish the general asthetics we’re going to go for.

Because briefings are often very interpretable, we prefer to try different directions based on the information uncovered in the strategy session, and then combine and merge parts from each. This will be our first reference point for future design elements.

Now that we know the visual line of your brand, we work on the design of the logotype: wordmark, icon, all the different versions in monochrome and color, big and small, in line with the style and preparing it for its future applications while staying recognizable and true to your brand. We encourage our clients to pay attention to it and be intentional with their phrasing and vocabulary, and adapt their messaging to accomodate whether they want to be detailed and formal or casual and snappy, etc.
